Christmas... Let's see if I can remember it all....

Christmas weekend was full of helping mom. My whole freakin' 4 day weekend and I didn't get to sleep in at all... Oh well... This weekend... lol

So Christmas Eve I went over and helped mom, of course. Was supposed to bring home the items to make the Broccoli Casserole, but I forgot. Silly me...

Christmas day, went over to mom's at about 10:45a. Helped her finish up the bits of cooking that were left. Then we opened presents. Sean, Ally, Matt, Stacy, Mom, and I opened our presents together, Josh being the almighty grump he is, decided to not join us because "it's too crazy in there"... Opening of presents was pretty uneventful. I got a Beatles Let It Be t-shirt from Stacy, a gift card to JCPenney from Sean, Ally, & Matt, and a gift card to Victoria's Secret from Josh. Karen had gotten me a nice pair of earrings, a gift card to Jiffy Lube, and a very gracious check. (Of which I hope to use on clothes!) And last but not least Mom got me a jewelry making kit, and years 1-4 of Harry Potter.
We all just kinda chilled out til dinner was ready. Then we ate, mom made way too much food as usual. But it was delicious. After all of this excitement Ally and I took Matt, Chocolate, and Rosie for a walk around the neighborhood. When we got back I was pooped, was falling asleep on the couch. So Stacy and I headed back home, where we took a nap. mmmm turkey filled tummy naps... lol I thought that with Stacy and I leaving that it would make it easier for Sean/Ally/Matt to leave earlier since Ally had been complaining of not feeling well in the morning. But they didn't, oh well, ya know?
So that's all that happened... not much to tell... Oh yeah dad called in the midst of the present openings so didn't really get a chance to say more than Merry Christmas.

Christmas Party

So, one post right after another...lol. Guess thats what happens when you have no work to do.

Mom's company was having an end of the year/Christmas party, she asked me to go with her. I said I would love to go. So, then came the task of figuring out what to wear. After a trip to Ross, we found a perfect pantsuit for me.

The company paid for a hotel room at the Marriott Marina Hotel. We were lucky enough to get a bay view, and boy oh boy was the view gorgeous. Here are a few pictures of the view.

After dinner, I was dragged upstairs to dance. I enjoyed doing that for awhile. The DJ was horrible, no mixing skills whatsoever!!!! Once I was all danced out mom and I went out onto the back of the ship and took some pictures. This one is of her and I.

The very last picture I have is that of the Hotel Del Coronado all lit up.



I had a great time and am grateful mom chose me to go with her.

So, it's been awhile since I posted. I have some more pictures of the quilt, Chocolate, and I. The first is of the quilt on my bed, be forewarned my walls are VERY white lol.

Holiday Weekend

So, survived yet another holiday without much drama. Well at least on my part.

So the long weekend started with getting out of work at 2. Was nice to get out early, the only part that sucked was that I still had class so I only got to chill at home for an hour before having to go out again. Oh well. Life keeps moving onward.

So Thursday, Thanksgiving, Stacy and I went over to mom's house for the day. Got over there at about 11am and didn't leave until around 4p. Watched 3 movies, Shrek 3, some Beatles movie, and Limony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Food was good. There was a spastic episode after we had eaten when Rosie was chewing on a bone and Sandi walked by her so Rosie grabbed Sandi by the neck. I think that Rosie was just holding onto her as Sandi did not make any noises of pain. But because it was mom's dog mom flipped out and dropped her plate into a grip o pieces. Needless to say that the end of Thanksgiving was exciting to say the least.

So then we get to Friday.... Oh boy mom is such an early riser... Wish I had been able to sleep in!!!! Oh well. So I went over to mom's house to push her to finish my quilt. Well it worked!!! Got her to finish sewing the top n bottom strip on the front....

Then it was time to push her to finish the back. Love the pattern! Next it was time to roll it up and "burp" it. Then turn it inside out...



So that's us rolling it up....

We finally figured out how to unroll it and here is what it looked like unrolled.



We're done!!! Well not quite.. Had to go over Friday and Saturday. With finally finishing it on Sunday. Here are pictures of me "quilting" it.

Not exactly the way I wanted to spend my 4 day weekend, but I am grateful that my quilt is finally finished. I do not have a picture of it on my bed yet as I had just finished most of the finishing ties at 10p Sunday nite.

On a side note, Stacy and I are playing basketball again and it feels good. Took Chocolate to the park two days outta the four day weekend. Had a blast... Can't wait for a REAL break lol....

Well back to work... I am covering receptionist duties for Lori... On the day that the potential buyers AND some of the higher ups are here!!! YIKES!!! LOL Back to it...

Tuesday Blues

So, not much new is going on.

Been having a bit of difficulty with one of my friends returning a movie I borrowed from Stacy. Had sent several polite emails asking for it to be returned. Did not get a reply until I was a lil nasty. Why is it people most respond to negativity? Oh well, we worked it through.

It's really tough not having friends who live close. Trying to alleviate that though. Flora, the girl who had Stacy dj the halloween party for her, wants to get together this weekend with Stacy n I. Hopefully I found a friend close!!!

In other news.... Oh wait there are no other news. ROFL.

Another Friday

It seems I am not keeping up as much as those who read this would like. Maybe I need to set an alarm in my email to remind me to write at least every couple of days.
So much has gone on... Let's see if I can get it all into here.. LOL

So, it has been 10 days since I posted. On Friday October 26th Stacy n I went to a party. Some random chick on Myspace messaged me and invited me to her party. She mentioned that there was going to be a dj but she had not booked anyone yet. So I was like, hey your in luck, my boyfriend is a dj! So I told her to get into contact with him and he said he'd do it. The day of the party came and I started feeling a bit nervous about this party. I had planned on dressing up as a night nurse, but chickened out at the last moment because I didn't like how much pudge it was showing off. We got there early and set up. Didn't really even talk to the girl who threw the party, but had fun. Forgot my camera... so no pictures.

Next in my adventures... Saturday October 27th... Got awoken to a text message from mom asking me what I was doing that day at 7am!!!! MOM STOP WAKING UP SO FREAKIN EARLY!!!!! ROFL. Anyways, the hint she wanted was that she wanted me to help her clean. So being the good daughter that I am, I went over and helped her go thru her crap in the garage and made some nice progress. After that Stacy n I went n rented Transformers and got a smoothie. Chilled n watched the movie... how exciting, but loved the movie, what attention to detail.

Sunday Stacy and I went to go see Saw IV. GOOD MOVIE. Highly recommend it, if you like any of the other Saw movies. The listened to Stacy do his live radio show on dubplates.co.uk.

Monday... nada... lol

Tuesday Stacy had a gig out in Wildomar. Noone was there so we went over to his best friend from hs's house. I really like her and can see why they are friends. Good peeps.
Wednesday.. HALLOWEEN!!! So we went to his best friend's house again for a costume party. Was fun. Real chill. Here are a few of the funny pics...

Another sad day...

Horrible, horrible news today. Josh's dog Sugar passed away this morning.
Mom went downstairs to let Sandi n Sugar out and Sugar wasn't moving. We think she had heart failure because of how she looked like she was sleeping still. Saddest part of this day is that J blames mom for her death. I think it's just initial grief of losing his dog. Let's hope he doesn't continue to blame her. She will be missed. Friday!!!

Well it's that time of the week again, it's FRIDAY!!! woohoo! So the plans for this weekend are pretty dull... except for the instore performance on sat. Tonite is movies, tomorrow I think mom wants me to help clean out the garage(sigh), the instore performance, and sunday hopefully nothing but studying for the HTML midterm. I hope I do well in that, done well so far. The class average as of right now is 78. eek! Let's hope I can do much better. Should be alright as long as I go thru the book n bookmark important stuff!! lol
Funny stuff: Sat on choco this morning, which prompted him to come out from under the covers and proceed to yell at me. So I let him outside and he decided to be a jerk and start barking. Mind you its 6am. So I had to go yell at him and he HAD to jump up into my arms. Silly dog.
Okay, that's all the excitement I've got for today.

First blog

So here I am entering into the world of blogging. Mainly because I have too much time on my hands at this moment. Although life isn't always this slow. LOL I prolly should b working on homework of some sort, but my brain needs a bit of a rest. LOL hmm.. So I need to invest in a camcorder... Love my digi camera, just would like some videos now LOL. We shall see... LOL
